attention all

okey doki tokidoki

tokidoki meaning 'sometimes' in japanese was created by artist Simone Legno, he fell in love with the crazy characters of shibuya to the serious magic of kyoto.
you can find his art work just about anywhere, products range from bags which you may have seen in duty free, apparel, jewelry, toys, usb sticks, laptop covers, caps, skate boards just about anything and everything you can think of, my last visit to New York i found the store, big thumbs up, very f***ing cool!
i had to buy pillow cases.

not only is the art amazing but now a makeup. sephora has launched a range of lip gloss's, eye shadows, liners even a mascara. each product and shade represents one of Simones's characters. so cute!

these waterproof, multicolor pens let you do more than just create intense eye looks, you can use the pens on your skin as body art too. only $16 USD

you can check the whole range out through sephora!

slightly unhealthy

i always fall hard for things, i fall madly deeply in love with things, i infatuate, i obsess over and day dream until it is mine, until i have have bought, played, worn to death and then it is on to the next as if the last never existed. i have a very strange addiction for being addicted to things, i let the silliest things consume me, brain wash me. example... the hoola hoops i just had to have because that was how i was going to get into shape, because i needed them because my old ones were not cool anymore and was why i wasnt using them, because maybe id take it up professionally and go to a class for hoola hoopers, because i had them as a kid... needless to say they have been lying in the same place on lounge floor for 3 weeks now, price tag still attached.
im not sure why i like to collect and obsess, i'm a shopaholic a hoarder an addict for the impulse buy, i live across the road from the shopping mall, im a finger away from online buying or stumbling upon this weeks new obsession accident, which brings me back to the original reason for this rant... lomography. lomography seems to have stuck. i got the obsession for lomo cameras real bad, i had a love affair with ebay and we spent one very long night together purchasing 3 lomo cameras, flashes, filters, gels, frames, 35mm backs, 120mm backs, and enough film that would last someone a life time, turns out not, everyday for a week i got something new in the mail, i was on my lomo high. i knew i had a problem when i was close to buying a scanner for a grand when i hadnt even taken one picture yet. 2 weeks on i got the itch and turned to Cruisers, beach bikes, riding everywhere wanting to pimp out 'Big Red', different coloured bells and streamers with matching baskets, wanted to buy a new one from new york oh then another from london, tried to start the bmx bandits in bondi junction, struting around the block like nicole kidman from the 80's.
still the cheap plastic fantastic thrill lives on, the lomo dream started last year for me, the haze, the blur, the lack of perfection, no limits no rules. dianas, minis, holgas, the fish eye, lomo LC-A, coloursplash, oktomat, pinhole, old school russian, panoramic and the one that got away... the lubitel. All have my heart and always will.
